These three Giants in Jazz came together for the first time at Dazzle Jazz in Denver in 2012.

Playing familiar jazz standards, they included original music, too.
  Dale chose four of his songs: Agradecido (grateful), NPPS (named for his children: Nancy, Pam, Paul, and Scot), Tracking, and Her Tender Countenance.

 In Bill’s case, for his song Deep Dead Blue, he asked his friend, Elvis Costello, to write the lyrics. [No, the lyrics are not heard on this CD.]

Mike’s song, Reneé’s Waltz, was written for his wife. second disc is titled Her Tender Countenance.

One other song that may be unfamiliar to you is Just Between Us. This was written by our friend Dr. Charles Eakin, a retired professor of music at the University of Colorado in Boulder. (Other songs of his can be heard on our cd titled Easy Does It!)
